/ About the project
The Canada Men’s 2026 Nike home kit reimagines one of the country’s most enduring symbols: the maple leaf.
Rather than treating it as a singular icon, the design draws inspiration from Canada as a mosaic; a nation shaped by many cultures, communities, and stories coming together to create something greater than the sum of its parts. This idea informed a subtle geometric pattern woven throughout the fabric, transforming the maple leaf into a modern expression of unity, diversity, and collective strength.
Designed for a home World Cup, the kit embodies a sense of quiet confidence. Rather than relying on bold gestures or excessive embellishment, the design allows Canada’s most recognizable symbol to take centre stage. The result is a jersey that feels timeless, contemporary, and unmistakably Canadian.
Thoughtful details connect the kit to the nation’s football heritage. A bespoke typeface draws inspiration from Canada’s first appearance on football’s biggest stage, while a hidden lucky loonie nods to one of the country’s most celebrated sporting traditions. Together, these elements create a bridge between past and present, honouring the journey of Canadian football while looking firmly toward its future.
Engineered with Nike’s latest Dri-FIT ADV technology, the kit combines elite performance with a distinctly Canadian story. A modern classic for a new generation, it reflects the belief that Canada’s greatest strength has always been the people who come together beneath the maple leaf.
